Your path is not carved in stone

Sometimes it may seem as though your life has become predictable, routine, even boring!

That there is a relentless path to be trodden, ad infinitum. That there can be no respite, no variation, onwards and ever harder.

Actually, that may just be your mind’s viewpoint with its nose to the grindstone!

How many times do we hear dear ones say ‘If only things could have been different? What could I do? I had no choice!’

Sometimes life can feel harsh and we feel trapped in survival mode. When we wake up to knowing that there is more to life if we really want it, we just have to ask; put out our intention to the Universe and declare that we are ready to change. That declaration may start in the mind as a wistful thought, but that has to be affirmed and expressed – in writing, vocally, to others and be heart-felt. Then the intent has to be acted upon, step by step.

Then comes the realisation that we do have choice. Every day, every minute, every moment. About everything! Where are you now? Who are you with? What are you doing? All your choices. How would you like to spend the rest of this day? How would you like to change your life?

To be able to make these choices we have to re-empower ourselves, because we have given our power away to others in the past and the present. It takes considerable presence to even recognise this. We can be oblivious to the fact that we have been conditioned to please others, diminish ourselves and not even consider ourselves. Putting the Self first is deemed ‘selfish and unsociable’ by those that benefit from control and domination.

The time has come to allow yourself to love your Self. Be yourself. Express yourself. Live your life to embrace all that is, from a centre of Creator Consciousness, that is love.
